They draw upon the perverse and twisted or take something else and make it perverse and twisted. This season, that something was Marcia Brady – the eldest Brady daughter on the ABC television series The Brady Bunch – and put a horror movie spin on her. The models encapsulating this vision were made up to look like they had been crying glitter. They wore they wore crooked witch hats or Jason masks on their heads, and marijuana leaf charm necklaces around their necks. However these subversive elements were offset by the twee: sequinned detailing, pyjama-like floral fabrics and sparkly tweeds. They had the air of troubled, slightly psychotic teenagers who had stumbled into a vintage shop, taken some sort of hallucinogenic drug and emerged looking, well, fabulous.
