Coming to a cinema near you tomorrow: Yeezy Season 2

If you can’t get tickets for the shows then fashion weeks can often be pretty low on glamour – huddled round a slow laptop on a glitchy stream trying to catch a pixellated glimpse of the season’s new looks.

Kanye West – who just controversially announced that he’d be showing Yeezy Season 2 in New York on September 16 – has announced that you’ll be able to go and watch the show at a plethora of cinemas worldwide. You can buy tickets here.

The rapper slash designer only revealed that he’d be showing his second collection for Yeezy in New York three days ago, much to the chagrin of designers who claim they had to reschedule their own shows in order two work around Kanye.

If you’re based in London, head to the Odeon in Covent Garden. Passes are being distributed from noon and the broadcast begins at 5pm. Kanye pulled the same trick with Yeezy Season 1 – he wants everyone everywhere to see the fruits of his labour. He’s never been a man short on confidence.
