She’s posed in the buff for Nan Goldin, covered Playboy and, according to director Gaspar Noé, was picked for her role in 2009’s Enter the Void because “because she likes screaming, crying, (and) showing herself naked”. After appearing in Vivienne Westwood’s SS15 campaign shot by Juergen Teller, the 30-year-old actress and model was the perfect candidate to put in an appearance on the runway for today’s Gold Label AW15 show in Paris. Fracking, climate change, endangered species... there are few political issues Dame Viv hasn’t got behind. This season she turned her attention to gender roles, dubbing the collection “Unisex”. “Trousers for women, yes! Dresses for men, the same dresses that women wear? As for the finale, out stomped de la Huerta in a top hat and boob-bearing blazer, her partner in an exaggerated historical dress. When they reached the end of the runway, he lifted her veil and went in for what can only be described as an enthusiastic make out session. They were followed by Westwood herself and partner Andreas Kronthaler, who also shared a smooch on the catwalk. Watch the show below, and stay tuned for our full report. Liked this?
