Marie Schuller’s fashion film for Carhartt WIP and Slam Jam puts male models under the microscopeShareLink copied ✔️February 18, 2015FashionFirst LookTextSarah Young Models are usually seen, but rarely heard. Righting that wrong, a new fashion film by maestro Marie Schuller offers a glimpse into the lives and loves of a gang of next gen new faces. With nothing but a camera, chair and a couple of cigarettes, the group – including George Hard and Val Bird – talk candidly about forming hippy communes, drunken tattoo regrets and basketball dreams. It’s all to mark the launch of a collaborative capsule collection between Carhartt WIP and Italian streetwear enthusiasts Slam Jam, with creative direction from British designer Andrew Bunney – the man tasked with turning the iconic graphic identity of the London Underground into a sartorial phenomenon. Seen in the film below, the collection reinterprets Carhartt workwear classics for an entirely new generation. The first drop will be available at Carhartt Stores and selected retailers across the globe on February 25th.
