After creating kicks with Beyoncé's soulful sister Solange and unveiling Riri as their new creative director, German sneaker kings PUMA are back working with the best of the Brits – reuniting with Alexander McQueen offshoot McQ for a second season. Continuing the non-conformist ethos of their first collaboration, this season’s shoes also appeal to fans of the 90s, taking the best from the archives of both labels. PUMA’s classic high tops look fresh; reworked in brightly clashing, Fresh Prince worthy pop colours. Their styles (including the Leap Lo silhouette which makes a comeback after decades out of the game) have been given the full McQueen treatment, with some coming streaked with tyre print, inspired McQueen’s his seminal SS95 show “The Birds” – where models’ bodies and clothes were painted with fresh tracks.
