His and hers: This season, the girls have been well and truly making their mark on the menswear runway. Kolor’s AW15 show was no different, as female models blended in to the throng of boys. Two-tone jumpers with the colours inverted according to gender put a sartorial spin on the notion of “opposites attract”, while both sexes layered-up with woollen garments: cardigans with topstitched seams, multicoloured brushed coats and contrast lapel blazers. On the right lines: This season Junichi Abe played with lines in every which way. Coloured stripes in varying degrees of thickness streaked across blazers, while zigzag-edged fabric was appliquéd onto jumpers and jacket hems. Even scarves and socks received the linear treatment.
