Anderson has given Instagram a sneak peek of his debut womenswear collection with a shot of Julia Nobis in a sleeveless ribbed knit top and an ankle-length skirt. Photographed by Steven Meisel – who also shot Anderson's first campaign for the Spanish brand – it's a scintillatingly simple but tantalising glimpse of the collection to come. The SS15 collection for Anderson's eponymous label featured oversized leather sunhats and architectural panelling finished with rope detail. Last September, LVMH bought a share in the label and appointed the Irish designer as creative director of Loewe after ex-designer Stuart Vevers left to replace Reed Krakoff at Coach. Loewe Spring/Summer 2015 Anderson has said before that he won't approach Loewe as a purely fashion-focused endeavour, explaining that he wants his collections to take inspiration from "a cultural landscape" just as much as the house's 168-year-old heritage. From his revamp of the house logo to its newly pared-back approach, it's clear Anderson intends to put his own personal stamp on Loewe. Fortunately, we'll just have to wait one day more to see what he has up his sleeve.
