FashionNewsMarc by Marc Jacobs is casting models on Instagram againMissed out on fame the first time round? Try again with the new #castmemarc campaignShareLink copied ✔️September 25, 2014FashionNewsTextZing TsjengMarc by Marc Jacobs SS15 Back in April, Marc by Marc Jacobs devised a pretty genious way to scout new faces for its AW14 campaign and get people talking about it on social media: put a casting call out on Twitter and Instagram. This season, the brand is looking to repeat its success for SS15. The first #castmemarc competition attracted 70,000 entries, with the winning nine photographed by David Sims. Geography is no barrier either – the successful models came from all over the world, from Uruguay to Australia and South Korea. Aspiring models don't have a lot of time to get their entries in – the competition ends this Friday 26 September. To enter, just make sure your Twitter or Instagram account is set to public and upload your photo with the hashtag #castmemarc. You have to be 18 years or older, and you need to be free for the shoot from 12 October to 13 October. If last season's winners are anything to go by, Luella Bartley and Katie Hillier will be looking for people with a unique spin on personal style (oh, and crazy dyed hair helps too). There are already well over a thousand entries on social media, so good luck!
