"I make sport-inspired casual wear with a luxurious feel," the Danish designer says. "I want it to be very clean and sleek but at the same time push some materials and techniques unconventional to Topman." To that end, the collection features a tri-colour palate of white, black and striking carnation pink and boasts Andersen's signature oversized, streetwear silhouette. The unlikely starting point for the project's aesthetic? Indian basketball players. "The inspiration for the design was a website I found on Punjab basketball teams," she says. "There were images from the fifties right up to today so the inspiration became the crossover references on how this was originally a national sport but as time progressed it became highly Americanised. The colour code and metal reflect the traditional use of Indian colours but in a tight palette." While the boys of A$AP Mob are no strangers to the modelling world (remember that DKNY campaign with A$AP Rocky and Cara Delevingne?), this is the first time Ferg's stepped in front of the lens. Looking good in the all-white tracksuit, Ferg. The collection drops on 12 June. Take a closer look in the gallery and listen to "Let It Go" from his debut album Trap Lord below: Escape the algorithm!
