References: Marant’s favoured French insouciance, in black leather, peeps of lace and statement embellished jackets. Stand out looks: A perforated white grid waistcoat, with a boxy outsized cut and collar. Unexpected details: Black ribbon belts and lace triangle bras under open jackets were a not-so-subtle lingerie reference. Texture: No look was complete without ruffles or lace. Isabel Marant SS14 by Jacques Habbah Prints: A soft floral in the palest green, yellow and cream, on chiffon, frilled camisoles and blouses. Shoes: A take on the T-bar heel, with a wide strap that met the ankle at a bow – the best were black and studded. Colour impression: A muted desert palette of tan, grey, cream, blush and washed out green. For the kids: Super short flippy leather ra-ra skirts, and a grey felt mini with laced fastening. Left us wanting: The heavily embellished khaki green jacket, and fine mosaic-like metallic cropped trousers.
