Almost two decades ago Naomi Campbell shook expectations as the face of Prada. That was 1994, also the year that Malaika Firth was born, perhaps less significant until you consider that this 19 year-old has just re-awakened those headlines again by being the first black model to feature in a Prada campaign since that year.

When everyone surrounds you and starts doing your hair plus makeup….to have that amount of people transforming you is quite surreal.

No, I’m always professional.

If your clothes could talk right now, what would they say?

Sexy.

What is your guilty pleasure during fashion week?

Alone time while people do my makeup and I can zone out.

What's in your bag right now? 

Purse, sunglasses and a book called “I Declare” by Joel Osteen.

My baby cousin.
