One of the 1993 class, she was initially inspired to follow in the steps of fellow Dutch beauty Doutzen Kroes, so she sent pictures to Amsterdam agency Paparazzi and was hired straightaway. Fast forward to 2013, she starred in Steven Meisel’s Pre-Fall campaign for Prada, but when a panic attack took hold on set, Saskia de Brauw helped calm her down. For Fall 2013, she walked for Loewe, Rick Owens, Dries Van Noten and Miu Miu for ready-to-wear, and Iris Van Herpen and Valentino for couture. In Dazed's '93 issue, she lends edge to our Miu Miu archive feature, the intellectual, irreverent label founded in the year of her birth.
