The fledgling UK boutique opened its doors to the public on the 19th of December 2008, and plays host to three floors of menswear, womenswear and homewears that together cover an impressive 3500 square feet. The ground floor, dedicated to accessories, signature handbags and women’s daywear collections, contains impressive displays of the Italian fashion house’s unique product. Adorning the room as an elegant centre-piece is the Missoni fringed pendant lamp from the label’s home collection. The first floor however is far more decadent, holding Missoni’s eveningwear collections and a bespoke VIP suite, furnished completely by Missoni homewears. The suite gives VIP customers the chance to shop in privacy, and to relax in front of the prominent plasma screen TV, a very luxurious sartorial experience for lovers of the Missoni brand.Menswear and homewears can be found on the lower ground floor, in a jungle of walls painted in Missoni signature shades and stools covered in the house’s famous chevron print. More than fifty years have allowed Missoni to grow from a simple fashion label into a complete lifestyle experience, and their first UK boutique is indicative of the brands all consuming presence, as upon entering the store the customer is utterly immersed in the Missoni experience. The Missoni boutique is now open at 193 Sloane Street, London Escape the algorithm!
