Freddy, who launched in the UK this year with its first store in Covent Garden, has officially partnerned up with The Royal Ballet to become the sponsor and supplier of dance fitness wear for the company. Dancers from the Royal Ballet worked closely with Freddy Creative Director Giacomo Novello to work out the practicalities of clothing worn during daily classes and rehearsals and pieces are unique and tailored to the individual to the dancer's needs. Monica Mason, Director of The Royal Ballet said “This is a very exciting partnership for The Royal Ballet.  With a wide range of rehearsal clothes designed exclusively in consultation with the dancers, it’s a perfect ‘fit’ in so many ways.”

Further than servicing the dancers, there will also be a unique Freddy Royal Ballet Dancers Collection which will go on general sale. It will include technical dance wear, shoes and accessories as well as a more casual line of t-shirts, sweatshirts, fleeces and jackets, as modelled by the dancers from the company in the images.

This collaboration follows Freddy's other sponsorships such as kitting out the Italian Olympics Team for the Beijing Olympics and also working closely with the La Scala Theatre Ballet Company.

The Freddy Royal Ballet Dancers collection will be sold in Freddy stores, the Royal Opera House Shop and through their e-shops.
