As one of the last remaining bag manufacturers in the UK, John Chapman are flying the flag for British manufacturing by using high quality materials to produce bags with a difference. With double stitched zips, cotton military grade webbing, solid brass hardware and hand crafted saddlery, Chapman offers style with a double helping of serious durability. For S/S11, their Large City Rucksack features a generous 30-litre compartment with two accessible but secure large zipped exterior pockets for those on the move. The classic rucksack is available to suit all tastes with a range of colours from Gold, to Burgundy and Deep Olive. Crafted out of naturally bonded layers of pure cotton drill and rubber, the bag also comes as standard with 100% waterproof cotton webbing and hand made fastenings. As of May, the pretty much indestructible Chapman bags will be available to buy from luxury department store Harvey Nichols. In the meantime, you can order the Large City Rucksack, along with the rest of the Chapman range, directly from their online store. Escape the algorithm!
