Tumbling down the backs of the world’s most famous faces, this XXL hair was sometimes sleek and sometimes unkempt, but always loose and long. First to arrive with this style were the Chloé women – Sienna Miller, Chemena Kamali, Zoe Saldana and Emma Mackey – who turned up looking like a coven of very chic witches and also a bit like the Seven Sutherland Sisters with their long, loose waves. Also wearing their hair long and overgrown were Sarah Jessica Parker, Dove Cameron, Allison Williams, Rosalía, Demi Lovato, Charlotte Tilbury, Sarah Pidgeon, Da'Vine Joy Randolph, Elizabeth Debicki, Shakira, Sabrina Carpenter and Cardi B. Demi Moore’s hair reached down past her knees thanks to hairstylist DJ Quintero, who used Living Proof products including the Vanishing Oil on the ends of her 50 inch extensions to keep it sleek and smooth. Kendall Jenner’s hairstylist Tamás Tüzes created loose waves that were clipped up away from her face and then hung loose down to her bum reminiscent of a brunette Chloë Sevigny in Big Love. On make-up, Mary Phillips kept the look fresh and simple with rosy cheeks and a neutral lip. Lana del Rey wore a custom design by Alexander McQueen’s Seán McGirr which referenced a look from the FW06 collection. Underneath the headpiece created from natural hawthorn branches and sheer tulle, her hair by Anna Cofone fell in loose waves down her back. Make-up artist Etienne Ortega used Charlotte Tilbury products for the ethereal beauty look, including the Flawless Filter and Beauty Skin Foundation, the Contour Wand and Blush Wand in Pillow Talk Peach Pop. Lip was Ortega Lip Liner Xola Liquid Icon Hyper Gloss with a secret product in the centre. Amelia Gray’s long, black hair was almost wet, coming down like jellyfish tendrils onto her Undercover SS24 “Terrarium” dress. Meanwhile Vera Wang and Law Roach both wore their hair pin-straight and down to their waists, for an effect that was more 70s Cher than Kajillionaire hair.
