Instagram/@patmcgrathrealBeautyBeauty newsPat McGrath’s new Supreme collab is nearly hereFor all you hypebeasts who love a fresh setShareLink copied ✔️August 22, 2022BeautyBeauty newsTextAlex Peters It won’t surprise anyone to hear that Supreme’s lipstick collaboration with Pat McGrath Lab in 2020 was the most highly anticipated of the year. Selling out in seconds (eight, to be exact), it was the fastest of any Supreme collaboration. The lipstick then went on to resell for 225 per cent of its original price and by the end of the year, StockX had seen sales of $225,000 worth of the product. Now, the two brands are joining forces once again, this time on a collection of nail polishes. Described as long-lasting and high-shine, the nail polishes were designed by McGrath exclusively for Supreme and mark the first time either brand has released nail colour. The nail polish will come in three shades – black, white and, unsurprisingly, Supreme’s signature hue: red. They will be sold as a set which also includes custom logo nail decals. The exact date of when the nail polishes will be released has yet to be confirmed but it will be mid-September so keep your eyes peeled. The collaboration was announced on McGrath’s Instagram account alongside video inspiration for how to use the polishes from nail artists Jin Soon and Nails by Mei, regular McGrath collaborations. Word on the internet street is that more will follow. It’s not surprising that Supreme has decided to enter the world of nail polish considering how popular the category has become among musicians – Tyler, the Creator, Lil Yachty, Machine Gun Kelly and Harry Styles have all launched nail brands in the last few years.
