Ever wondered what Dolly Parton smells like? Well, now’s your chance to find out.

After spending two years of perfecting her signature scent, the country music legend and queen of sleeping in makeup has released her own debut fragrance – titled Scent From Above.

“Having my own perfume has always been a dream of mine,” said Dolly in a statement. “For as long as I can remember, people have commented on my scent. ‘What are you wearing?,’ ‘What is that fantastic smell?,’ and ‘Where can I get it?’ are all questions I have heard daily for more years than I can remember.”

In an interview with WWD in June, the “Jolene” singer explained that she finally perfected the scent. “I felt like a mad scientist trying to find the right combination, but we did,” she stated. 

According to Dolly’s new fragrance website, the product is a combination of bath oils, powders, and perfumes – scented with a musky sandalwood base, fruity top notes of mandarin and pear, and floral and vanilla scents at the heart. For now, Scent From Above is available in a 3ml discovery size for $10, with a full sized version on its way.

Along with the fragrance, the musician has released a brand new single to help promote the launch, titled “Sent From Above”. “I think I’ll have a fun time promoting it and enjoy getting out there and talking about it,” she said. “I really want to see how people respond to it.”

Otherwise, Parton has teased plans to release a full range of beauty products. “I’m going to be doing wigs, accessories, and make-up,” she shared. “I’m going to hopefully create a scent for the men in my life, too.” 

Elsewhere, in honour of her husband’s birthday on July 20, the singer recreated her iconic Playboy cover from 1978. “It’s always #HotGirlSummer for my husband, Carl,” she said on Twitter. We love to see it.
