Joining Rihanna, Iris Law, and Ariana Grande in making the chop is Willow Smith, who was given a buzzcut while performing a version of “Whip My Hair”, continuing to shred on her electric guitar while she did so. During the pop-punk rendition of the song as part of a Facebook live show, a leather jacket-clad woman walked out on stage brandishing clippers to strip off Willow’s locks. In a behind-the-scenes interview, Smith said: “I’m always shaving my head at monumental times in my life when things are really changing, and this is definitely one of those moments.” The 20-year-old released album lately I feel EVERYTHING last week (July 16), which featured collaborations with Avril Lavigne and Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker.
