Jenner recently said that Kylie Cosmetics was being given “a little makeover”, and the brand’s website is teasing an overhaul, displaying the words “SOMETHING IS COMING”. Kylie has since revealed a new look for the lip lacquer and liner sets via Instagram, with new branding in light pink packaging in line with her Kylie Skin collection. As well as being vegan, the new lip kits promise to be – handily for our mask-wearing selves – smudge resistant, lightweight, and wearable for eight hours. During an interview as part of the recent Keeping Up With The Kardashians reunion, Kylie revealed that her obsession with her lips began after a boy made her feel like she was “un-kissable”. “I have really small lips and I didn’t ever think about it until I had one of my first kisses and a guy said to me, ‘Oh my god, you’re such a good kisser but you have such small lips,’” the 23-year-old said. “From then on I felt un-kissable. I had an insecurity because this guy said something to me.” She added: “Then I got this obsession with makeup because I would over-line my lips.” Kylie launched her lip kits when she was 18 years old, and they famously sold out in under one minute. In 2019, Forbes named her the world’s youngest “self-made” billionaire. Elsewhere in the Kylie empire, Kylie Skin just launched reusable cloth make-up remover pads, and the beauty tycoon is also rumored to be working on a swimsuit line and baby product line.
