It’s Mother’s Day today here in the UK, a chance to thank mothers – whether they’re your biological, adopted, chosen, or other – for their influence and how they’ve shaped you as a person. 

To celebrate, over on Dazed, a new video has dropped entitled ‘A Drag Mother’s Day Message’ featuring a host of queens discussing the importance of drag families and how their own personal ones have helped shaped them as creatives. To give you a behind-the-scenes look at the looks the drag artists created for the video, we asked them to tell us more about the inspirations behind them.
