A few weeks ago, Cardi B hit back at criticism over her decision to have plastic surgery after the birth of her baby Kulture and the news that she would be cancelling upcoming shows due to reported complications with some of her procedures. And now the rapper has taken to social media again, this time to vow she will never go under the knife again.

It all started last week, when Cardi updated her Instagram stories with a series of gruesome photos of her swollen feet, writing “Look how swollen my feet get every time I take a plane imagine my body Reasons why doctors told me to chill on shows ... My stomach gets even more puffy. My feet and stomach burn when I get puffed up.”

Following the photos, she then tweeted her decision to never go under the knife again, writing “I been working out for the past 2 weeks cause bitch I ain’t getting surgery again but let me tell you I haven’t got a headache ever since.”

Back in July, Cardi shared her plans of getting plastic surgery after the birth of her first child Kulture. She underwent a breast augmentation and liposuction, returning to work too quickly and suffering painful swelling in her feet and stomach. Doctors typically advise patients to be on bed rest following surgery, with gentle movement every hour to avoid blood clots. No wonder the 26-year-old rapper is suffering, returning to her gruelling schedule of long plane rides and touring just weeks after her procedures.
