In this section, we'll be hosting a series of interactive classes designed to make you feel calmer, happier and more at peace. Bringing the ancient practice of colour therapy as well as sound and scent to yoga practice, Chroma Yoga is a multi-sensory experience for the modern day. Founded by Nina Ryner in 2017, Chroma Yoga is based around scientific research on the effects that light frequencies can have on our bodies and minds. Each yoga session at Chroma is held in a room bathed in different coloured light each of which holds different healing properties; yellow, for example, can help promote a healthy sleep cycle and encourage self-esteem, while blue is said to elevate mood and boost productivity. Accompanying the light therapy in each class are bespoke soundtracks designed to promote a more calm, focused and relaxed state of mind by mimicking the frequencies our brains emit in different states of consciousness, creating a fully immersive, multi-sensory experience. Today, we bring you a session bathed in orange light, the energy-giving properties of which can help increase alertness, reduce anxiety, correct hormonal imbalances and soothe inflamed muscular tissue. Watch and enjoy.
