This will be the third time Naomi has taken up the role for the much-loved French cosmetics and skincare company. A longtime friend and muse of the brand’s founder and creative director, the sumptuous campaign images were also shot by the man himself - François Nars. The main image features Naomi head-on, her skin glowing and glossy lips ajar, while, in the second black and white frame, the famed model throws her head back in rapturous laughter, wearing a pillar-like dress as her toned legs protrude from either side. “Naomi is a living icon and brings such strong personality to the camera. She and I are like family. I have known her since the very beginning of her career. From the start, I have admired her, her beauty, and her style,” said Nars. This is just the latest move in Naomi’s illustrious career. Appearing as the first black woman ever to land a Vogue cover in 1989, let alone the September issue, she has since become a vocal spokesperson advocating for higher levels of diversity within the fashion industry.
