Enjoy. Christian Dior Spring 2003 Ready-to-Wear Collection Dramatic eye looks accompanied the fluorescents, khakis and metallics that were sent down the runway for Dior SS03. Overblown exaggerated lashes were framed by pencil-thin arching brows and diamante-studded lids, and paired with glossy red lips, all courtesy of Mother Pat. John Galliano Fall 2003 Ready-to-Wear Collection Thick, bold, black and stuck on, it was all about supersize brows this season, inspired by none other than Joan Crawford. Complementing this was oversized beauty spots decorating the face as well as a boatload of blush and drag-inspired lips. Christian Dior Fall 2004 Couture Collection Inspired by a trip to Vienna, Galliano’s couture fall 2004 show for Dior was fit for a queen with beauty to match. Faces were powdered, beauty spots were drawn, and lips were tiny and heart-shaped. Christian Dior Fall 2005 Couture Collection The 2005 fall couture collection harked back to Edwardian times with a Fin de siècle setting and New Look inspired make-up to mark Christian Dior’s centenary. Arched brows? Check. Red lips? Mais oui. Christian Dior Spring 2007 Ready-to-Wear Collection Rare for a Galliano show, for spring 2007 the make-up took a backseat with a pared-down face and the spotlight was shone on the hair – Joan of Arc style peplum updos with zippers braided down the back. John Galliano Fall 2007 Ready-to-Wear Collection Decadent and romantic Parisian characters walked straight out of early century Pigalle onto the runway for Galliano’s AW07 collection. Arched cupid’s bows and water-colour eyes, these models were an artist’s muse. Christian Dior Fall 2008 Ready-to-Wear Collection Big beehive hair and equally gigantic eyes was the look at Dior in FW08, very much in keeping with the 60s vibe of the collection that season. Christian Dior Fall 2009 Ready-to-Wear Collection Razor-thin eyebrows were back this season and were paired with pastel eyes and cheeks to match, while hair was encased by bobbypins. Christian Dior Fall 2010 Couture Collection Bold blocks of colour eye make-up was the order of the day for the fall 2010 couture collection, while hair was teased into towering bubble creations and wrapped in Stephen Jones-designed headgear.
