So it makes sense that Versace's new Home collection - launched at last week's Design Week in Milan - follow suit. Full of prints and colours, it boats furniture and glass pieces. Sunburst, for example, is a crystal round table with a base composed by 14 elements in chromed metal that conveys the strength of a solar explosion. More subtle, at least in its colour, is the Vanitas armchair, which Versace presents in an all-black shade (although you can also get it multi-coloured, of course). Equally interesting is the Versace/Venini collaboration of hand blown glass vases. The two classic Italian brands each bring their characteristic aesthetics and superior craftsmanship to the collection, which will available in Versace stores from next autumn. Escape the algorithm!
