If so, Pornhub is calling for you. The porn site has now announced a new “bug bounty program”, which is offering up to $25,000 to anyone who can breach its security network. The concept, which was announced on Tuesday, is apparently part of the an ongoing effort to keep the Pornhub community “safe”. According to a blog post on the site, it will offer money to people who can find security bugs on the site, and show them how to reproduce them. “We are essentially asking you tech geeks to pore over the site and show us where we can be doing better,” the post states. Rewards range from $50 to $25,000, and will only be paid out if the hacker is the first to report their discovered vulnerability. The issue and reproduction method then needs to be described clearly – with screenshots or proof of concept code – and sent exclusively to Pornhub for review. “Like other major tech players have been doing as of late, we're tapping some of the most talented security researchers as a proactive and precautionary measure – in addition to our dedicated developer and security teams – to ensure not only the security of our site but that of our users, which is paramount to us," Core Price, vice president of Pornhub, said in a press release. The site has become known for its unusual side projects in the last few months. Aside from attempting bold industry breakthroughs (shooting the “first ever” space porn, for example), it’s also getting more into philanthropy too. Just last year, it announced plans to give out free college scholarships to those who “make people happy”, and it launched its own anti-domestic violence clothing line back in February.
