There’s the wrenching dance biopic with French singer Soko, the ghostly 1930s drama with Natalie Portman, and this one: Kevin Smith’s long-awaited comedy horror, Yoga Hosers. Described by the director as “Clueless meets Gremlins,” Yoga Hosers is Smith’s sequel to 2014’s not-so-successful Tusk – and stars Depp and Harley Quinn Smith as two jaded convenience store workers who come face to face with an “ancient evil”. According to the film’s official summary, the girls are then forced to “join forces with the legendary man-hunter from Montreal named Guy Lapointe to fight for their lives with all seven Chakras, one Warrior Pose at a time.” Unfortunately there’s no news on the film’s official release date just yet – but given that it got a Sundance premiere last night, it should hit cinemas later in the year.
