Photographer and Dazed co-founder Rankin has teamed up with Samsung for a project that will help people achieve their dreams across various creative fields. The project, Launching People, will allow entrants to submit a project in one of four categories: film, food, music or photography. From there, winners will be chosen from each category and will then see their projects realized with the help of their mentor.

As one of these mentors, Rankin will be collaborating with the winning photographer on a brand new project. Speaking about what drew him to Launching People, he said: "I didn't have anybody helping me when I started. I was such an outsider to the industry. When we originally started Dazed our intention was to create a collaborative platform for anybody with a good idea. This feels like it's coming from the same spirit as that."

Winners will also be able to use Samsung’s latest technology to realise their dreams, and will feature on a Sky 1 HD series about their journey.
