The rapper, who recently spoke to Dazed with DâM-FunK about their 7 Days of Funk project, is raising money for his charity, the Snoop Youth Football League. If you donate, you win an internship with the Dogg himself. It's part of Snoop's big drive to raise awareness (and Christmas money) for the charity he founded in 2005, which provides inner-city kids with the opportunity to participate in youth football. On Reddit, where he goes under the name Here_Comes_The_King, the rapper is also soliciting Yuletide stories and poems for a special Snoop video reading. The winner of the internship competition will be flown to LA to spend a day with Snoop as his intern – although the rapper's idea of "internship" seems to be pretty flexible. In the competition video, the Doggfather promises: "We'll do some fun shit, eat some Roscoe's chicken and waffle... Help me give these kids a chance to reach their potential, and I'll make sure you have a dope time with me in LA." One brave Redditor has asked, "Will you light one up with me if I donate $1,000?" Snoop's response: "if u win we smokn tha whole tree." Dazed recently spoke to Snoop Dogg and DâM-FunK about 7 Days of Funk. If you want to donate to the Snoop Youth Football League, head here.
