Arts+Culture / InsiderFrieze Insider Access: Victoria CamblinThe editor and writer looks back at day two at the art fairShareLink copied ✔️October 11, 2012Arts+CultureInsiderTextDazed Digital We continue mapping Frieze goodies by asking writers, editors and curators what they've been up to during the day. Two days into the art fair, visitors and exhibitors alike are still full of energy - maybe tonight's parties will change that? We asked writer Victoria Camblin about her experiences so far... Dazed Digital: Have you seen anything good so far?Victoria Camblin: I love the work at Alex Zachary Peter Currie. The booth featured a mural by Lily van der Stokker, who selected a fantastically beige carpet for the installation, which is where I admittedly stood for most of the Private View last night! DD: What else are you looking forward to?Victoria Camblin: I'm excited to go back to the fair and explore the Frieze Projects commissions from DIS magazine, Grizedale Arts/Yangjiang Group, and Aslı Çavuşoğlu. DD: Best place for food at Frieze?Victoria Camblin: I rarely eat properly during art fairs. Last night, dinner was half a scotch egg washed down with Pommery champagne. DD: Any good parties coming up?Victoria Camblin: I can't wait for the party that DIS is doing with Lucky PDF, and the Frieze projects event with Space. I'm such a fan of all this work and love an opportunity to celebrate it! Escape the algorithm! Get The DropEmail address SIGN UP Get must-see stories direct to your inbox every weekday.
