In 2023, a conflict broke out between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), which has led to one of the largest displacements of people in the world, with almost 12 million people left without homes and shelter. The Sudanese people are once again suffering from brutal violence and repression, along with targeted killings, ethnic persecution, attacks on displacement camps, and hospitals. The seventh edition has brought together 23 leading photographers, including Jack Davison, Nadav Kander, Ala Kheir, Rinko Kawauchi, Bloomers & Schumm, Atong Atem, and more. The proceeds from the fundraiser will be going to UNHRC, which provides life-saving support and protection for Sudanese refugees. They provide access to clean water, shelter, medical care and essential mental health support, particularly for women and children. The sale is running from the 9 to 23 of December. To buy a print and support Sudanese refugees, check out the sale on the Pictures for Purpose website.
