And why wouldn’t they? It’s also no secret that reality TV is determined to dissect every interesting part of our culture and possibly leave it in tatters. It’s not too much of a logical leap, then, to imagine the rumoured Bachelor-style artworld dating show that could be coming to our screens in the near future. Earlier this week a post was spotted on the Los Angeles Art Opportunities Facebook page – which either sounds great or very sketchy – advertising: “single Bachelors Artist between the ages of 35 and 45, above 5’7’’ and any race.” The post also specifies someone, “single, a Los Angeles local, involved in the arts community at some capacity and non-union.” If you fit that description, email with your “name, contact, full body pic of yourself and what you’re looking for in a woman,” I guess. Don’t forget to include what your role is in the art world. Everyone else that doesn’t, tragically, fit into that very specific, elite set, will just have to wait on what is hopefully going to be a fiesta of expensive wine, art openings, and romantic gossip. Expand your creative community and connect with 15,000 creatives from around the world.READ MOREIn pictures: The changing face of China’s underground club sceneFrom the grotesque to the sublime, what to see at Art Basel Miami Beach Jean Paul GaultierJean Paul Gaultier’s iconic Le Male is the gift that keeps on givingThese photos show a ‘profoundly hopeful’ side to rainforest lifeThe most loved photo stories from November 2025Catherine Opie on the story of her legendary Dyke DeckArt shows to leave the house for in December 2025Dazed Club explore surrealist photography and soundDerek Ridgers’ portraits of passionate moments in publicThe rise and fall (and future) of digital artThis print sale is supporting Jamaica after Hurricane MelissaThese portraits depict sex workers in other realms of their lives
