The rapper set up his official Instagram this weekend, picking up over 820,000 followers at the time of writing. However, he’s not following anyone just yet. Back in March, Yeezy shared his thoughts about joining the social media platform, tweeting: “I was thinking about getting an Instagram but only on one condition... No one can ask me or try to tell me what to Instagram... it’s my art... My tweets are a form of contemporary art only compromised by people trying to tell me what to tweet and not to tweet... Non artist trying to grab the paint brush”. West celebrated the moment by posting a screenshot from the 1990 sci-fi film Total Recall.
