Music / NewsSia drops Kendrick Lamar collab ‘The Greatest’ and videoThe mesmerising music video features Maddie ZieglerShareLink copied ✔️September 6, 2016MusicNewsText Anna Cafolla After some teasing, Sia has released her latest track “The Greatest”, featuring Kendrick Lamar, along with a video led by dancer Maddie Ziegler. The video, directed by the blonde-haired Australian singer and Daniel Askill, features her collaborator and muse Ziegler in a set up similar to “Chandelier”. Only this time, Ziegler is joined by throngs of other mysterious, face-pulling dancers. The video version of the track doesn’t feature Kendrick Lamar. Past visual offerings from Sia include the series of megahits fronted by Ziegler in what’s fast become an iconic bobbed wig and leotard: “Chandelier”, “Elastic Heart”, “Big Girls Cry” and “Cheap Thrills”. “Alive” saw a tiny martial arts performer show off her best moves in an abandoned warehouse while wearing a monochrome wig. Following the release of her album This Is Acting last January, the enigmatic singer has collaborated with Kanye West on “Wolves”. Watch the video above or stream “The Greatest” below.
