Now, the Scot’s label LuckyMe has shared an unreleased demo made for ANTI. The Soundcloud upload was posted on the label's Facebook, which says it was recorded last year. The track features the voice of LuckyMe signee and Montreal’s Littlebabyangel. Who knows why it didn’t make the album, with a poppy lilt and – albeit slightly more subdued – classic Hudmo rhythmic inflections, it had Rih Rih banger potential. It did, however, morph into "Crisis", a track on Anohni's latest album. Since the release of his debut album Butter in 2009, the artist – real name Ross Birchard – has released the acclaimed album Lantern, among several other EPs, had a hand in Kanye’s Yeezus, as well as production for Pusha T and Anohni's Hopelessness, while collabing with Lunice as production duo TNGHT. The Glasgow-bred DJ and producer hinted at initial talks with the Barbadian singer’s people that never seemed to come to fruition. Then, Hud Mo mentioned that Rih was interested in “Fuse”, one of his signature tracks, before he decided to keep it for himself. Listen to the track below. Escape the algorithm!
