Music / NewsWatch Radiohead’s Paul Thomas Anderson-directed new videoThe acclaimed director helms the clip for new song ‘Daydreaming’ – taken from the band’s new album, out this SundayShareLink copied ✔️May 6, 2016MusicNewsTextSelim Bulut Radiohead have released a new song, “Daydreaming”, along with a new video directed by Paul Thomas Anderson. The clip follows an animated video for “Burn The Witch” earlier this week and was teased earlier today via footage of a confused-looking Thom Yorke wandering around a car park. The rest of the video sees the scraggly-haired frontman enter various other locations, including laundromats, beaches, mountaintops, etc. Anderson’s relationship with Radiohead is well-established. The band’s guitarist, Jonny Greenwood, is the acclaimed director’s go-to soundtrack composer, with the two working together on There Will Be Blood, The Master, and Inherent Vice. The video comes with some other huge news: that Radiohead’s new album will be available on Sunday. Yes, this Sunday. At 7pm on May 8th you’ll be able to get a download of the record, with a physical release slated for June 17th. The album doesn’t have a name (yet), but it can be pre-ordered from Radiohead’s website. Watch the video for “Daydreaming” above. Escape the algorithm!
