The Slay-Z rapper, who quit social media last month over its “junky and disgusting” culture, has returned – and now it’s Sarah Palin that’s stumbled into the firing line. In a series of (now deleted) tweets, Banks tore into the former Alaska Governor; stating that she should be filmed being gangbanged by black men, and put in a cupboard. “Sarah Palin needs to have her head shaved off to a buzzcut, get headfucked by a big veiny, ashy, black dick then be locked in a cupboard”, she wrote yesterday. “Honestly... let’s find the biggest burliest blackest negroes and let them run a train on her. Film it and put it on Worldstar.” via Mic / Twitter Although these tweets are pretty heinous, it’s worth noting that it’s not really Azealia’s fault. She was apparently reacting to a fake article posted on satirical site Newslo; which claimed that Palin had said that slavery “wasn’t forced onto African-Americans,” but that “they accepted it willingly.” Given Palin’s laughable political track record (she can barely form a proper sentence), it’s not exactly an unlikely scenario – but once Banks realised the error, she swiftly deleted the offending tweets. The rapper also divulged more about her decision to quit social media, hinting on Sunday that her mental health had been suffering since she stepped into the spotlight. “I've never felt suicidal but BOY has this shit taken a serious toll on my (already fragile) mental health,” she tweeted. “I never been on medication in my life but since coming into the spotlight I've been on several. I wrote about it in my song ‘Soda’... but that went over everyone's head because people would rather see my frustrations instead of my fragility.” It’s not the first time the rapper has courted controversy. She’s already publicly endorsed Donald Trump (despite calling him a “piece of shit”), slammed Instagram “free bleeders”, and criticised women who have multiple abortions.
