Let’s make some noise for Rihanna’s new label, Project Loud FashionNewsLet’s make some noise for Rihanna’s new label, Project LoudTime to Rih-invent your wardrobeShareLink copied ✔️February 27, 2019FashionNewsText Dominic Cadogan Just over a month ago, fashion’s rumour mill suggested that Rihanna was in talks with luxury conglomerate LVMH about starting her own label. The wait is now over, with the line now being confirmed. Called Project Loud – after the singer’s fifth studio album Loud – the label is said to have £50m investment from both LVMH and Rihanna (Bitch better have my money!) While RiRi is obviously already iconic, she can now add another title as the first black woman to have a brand under the group. Not to mention the fact, LVMH hasn’t launched a new brand since Christian Lacroix in 1987. According to Business of Fashion, the label will cover “menswear, womenswear, childrenswear, footwear, eyewear, leather goods, and sportswear,” so, she’s got every base covered for the best Rih-invention. With the singer already snatching wigs in the worlds of both beauty and lingerie, it’s no doubt that there will be increased hype around the label when it eventually launches. The date is still TBC so keep an eye out for more. Trending7 sex worker-approved films about sex workSex workers have slammed Sam Levinson for his depiction of the industry in Euphoria.
