FashionNews‘Nymphomaniac’ star Stacy Martin lands Miu Miu campaignShe's been called ‘Miu Miu personified’ and now she's fronting the brand's first ever fragranceShareLink copied ✔️May 15, 2015FashionNewsTextFrida Meinking How's this for the scent of success? After wowing audiences with her breakout role in Nymphomaniac, French-English actress Stacy Martin is the face of the first Miu Miu fragrance that launches in September this year. Martin will reunite with Steven Meisel, who photographed her for last year's stark black-and-white AW14 campaign. “The shoot was like no other thanks to Steven Misel’s incredible sensitivity and talent. I’m so honoured to be the face of the first Miu Miu fragrance,” Martin said. According to the brand, Martin is “Miu Miu personified” thanks to her “artistic rigor and iconoclastic spirit”. She's also one of Miuccia Prada's red carpet favourites; at this year's Met Gala, Martin was spotted wearing top-to-toe Miu Miu. The 24-year-old actress kickstarted her career in Lars von Trier's hardcore four-hour epic, which saw her play the lead role of self-diagnosed sex addict Joe. She told Dazed last year: "People are threatened by female sexuality. We almost never see women strong and determined. It’s amazing that women are finally standing up for themselves." This year, she's got four new films coming up; she's currently in Cannes, promoting her role in Renaissance fairytale Tales of Tales. All we need to do now is sit back and wait for the perfume to hit shelves later this year – and watch her star continue to rise in Hollywood.
