While Trump is in Florida today to represent his campaign, protestors have gathered outside of the tower that acts as his home and business headquarters, to demonstrate against his incidents of sexism and anti-women rhetoric. Recently, footage emerged of Trump in conversation with Billy Bush on Access Hollywood, where he brags about grabbing women “by the pussy”. There’s currently a pending lawsuit against him, based on a rape claim by a 13-year-old girl, as well as multiple claims of sexual harassment and misconduct in his workplace and former show, The Apprentice, from various women. Protestors are calling for elected officials to withdraw their support for Trump, according to The Cut. Women held signs such as “GOP HANDS OFF ME” and “Pussies in Formation” with images of cats. Chants included “Trump thinks he runs this town, pussy came to shut it down” as well as “We want freedom, tell the sexist GOP, we don’t need ‘em”.
