Vicente Gutierrez was born to Nicaraguan parents in Washington, DC. and has lived in Tokyo since 2005. As a writer and creator, his work revolves around ideas of transgression and reinvention and when not a workaholic, he spends his free time constantly rediscovering Tokyo, playing music and skateboarding. One of his current film projects is a documentary on Japanese noise music.
An 80-page book about EYE published by Japanese magazine OK FRED is getting a reprint.
