Cyberpunk 2077 players are delighting in its penis glitch

Gamers have been sharing pictures and videos of their character’s genitalia protruding through the in-game clothing

Cyberpunk 2077 is experiencing glitches just one day after its release, with players sharing pictures and videos of in-game loading, dodgy frame-rates, and body parts appearing where they shouldn’t be, including genitalia popping out through clothing.

Some players are reporting driving glitches where their car is suddenly flung into the air for no reason, or crashes into an invisible barrier, but others have pointed out that their character’s breasts or penis are appearing through their clothes. “Best Cyberpunk glitch so far,” one Twitter user wrote, sharing a video of their fully-dressed avatar with his penis flopping out through his trousers. “Absolutely flawless, 10/10”. Another user said that they “noticed a glitch where female penis does not stay in pants in inventory screen,” adding: “Or is it a feature?”

Players can customise many parts of their character, including their eyes, mouth, jaw, teeth, make-up, blemishes, even penis size (the smallest is five inches). However, the game’s character builder, which it claimed offered gender fluidity, came under criticism for its limitations yesterday when some users pointed out that the male body type had no clean-shave option, and that the smallest chest size it offered on a female body type was a “B-cup”.

Cyberpunk 2077 was announced back in 2012 by Polish developers CD Projekt Red, and after eight years of production, and many delays, was finally released yesterday (December 10). But such is its enormity and depth – estimates put the size of the map at 11k tall and 10km wide – there were bound to be a few teething problems shortly after release. They are yet to respond publicly to criticisms of its character builder. Before they are patched up, here’s a roundup of some of the glitches in the game so far:
