Sal and Dean, Thelma and Louise: we’re fufilling a lifelong desire to hit the road for a trans-continental journey, taking Dazed on a road trip across the great U.S of A to celebrate our States of Independence online project. What’s better, you’re all invited: from east to west coast, midwest to down south, our road trip is entirely virtual and taking place on our Instagram.

Each week for the next six weeks the @dazedmagazine Instagram will be ‘travelling’ across a new region of the USA, starting in the Northeast and ending up in the Pacific, hitting up as many states along the way as possible. We want to visit the hidden gems, the underground venues and meet the local heroes of your home state. Tag your Instagram photography taken wherever you are (or have been) in the US with #dazedroadtrip and we’ll share the best as we follow our mapped route – documenting the ultimate roadtrip over our Instagram feed, and on dazeddigital.com. We want to see landmarks, locations and vistas, sure: but we all want happenings, galleries, gigs, installations, you and your people – anything that marks your home state apart from the rest.
