Hailing from Manchester, the duo have since had to impress everyone from the likes of Prince to Robert de Niro and Michael Jackson, and are now finally celebrating the launch of their album 'Happiness' with a party taking over at RIBA. Despite coming under fire about their dapper dress sense, they claim it is merely a means of keeping things simple and smart - their advice is go to Debenhams and BHS or better yet, proper tailors. After breaking up their four-piece band Daggers with no regrets, Hurts have been storming the summer festivals and using up all their hair gel. The guys have come a long way since the dole office and they've got the Greeks and the Germans to thank.
