For four years of its partnership with FC Barcelona, Spotify has built a jersey takeover into one of the biggest moments on the yearly football calendar – El Clásico. El Clásico is the name given to the meetings between Spanish footballing juggernauts FC Barcelona and Real Madrid, as they consistently battle it out for the top spot in La Liga. 

This jersey takeover has included some of the biggest artists in music, with the likes of Rosalia and Travis Scott featuring over the past few years. For this title-defining edition of El Clásico at Spotify Camp Nou, FC Barcelona players wore a version of the iconic Blaugrana jersey featuring the logo of one of the most celebrated artists of her generation – Olivia Rodrigo. 

With Livies gearing up for the release of her third studio album you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, her Barcelona fans got treated to an exclusive invite-only gig on 8th May as part of this unique partnership with Spotify and FC Barcelona. At an iconic venue in the heart of the city, Spotify brought Olivia face-to-face with her top fans for the night. 

We sent Dazed Club member and local photographer Carla Del Toro to speak to some of Olivia’s biggest fans in the queue ahead of the show.
