While most of us are chronically online, beabadoobee is chronically offline. As we walked around London Fields for our spring 2026 cover story, I asked for her thoughts on popular culture, specifically Heated Rivalry and the Beckham family fall out – her response: “I have no idea what you’re talking about”. After spending so much of her adolescence online, the 25-year-old musician recently called it quits telling Dazed “With how times are changing and the way the internet has evolved, everyone will find an issue with absolutely everything.” If she has a statement to make or something on her mind, rather than turning to social media to vent she turns to her music: “I’ve realised I can get angry in my art and not feel worried about what people will think, because they are going to interpret it in so many different ways.”

Capitalism is indeed our downfall – but what better way to deal with its destruction and misery than to turn on some Miley Cyrus, especially her song “7 Things I Hate About You”, and lip sync to it with your dear friend? WHEN SHE BRAVELY CAME OUT AS A FURRY

 In an interview with Dazed in 2024, the musician revealed that her first celebrity crush was in fact not a real-life human or celebrity but Sully from Monsters Inc because he is, and I quote: “Nice and kind… And big”. She asserts that she is not a furry, but I’ll leave you all to make your own decisions.

While preparing for her A-Level exams, beabadoobee was caught by friends listening to her own music instead of revising. Music before everything! Even exams.
