Dazed is partnering with SXSW and we are giving five winners the chance to win a pair of passes to the festival’s music programming. SXSW London aims to highlight international music scenes with its programming, welcoming Korean rap legend Blasé and more into iconic venues across the city. Shoreditch’s Strongrooms gastropub will be transformed into the Caribbean Music House. The venue will host showcases from Jamaican reggae singer Lila Iké as well as BBC Radio 1Xtra's Dancehall Show host Seani B. Elsewhere in East London, Shoreditch Town Hall will be the centre of SXSW London’s Future of Classical Music Series, showcasing the next generation of classical music artists with a particular emphasis on black artists in the genre, alongside special guest Carleen Anderson. There will also be a series of showcases across London spotlighting queer music, with takeovers from platforms such as BBC Introducing, Mixtape Madness, WRAITH and more. Speaking on this unique programming across historic London venues, the festival’s head of music Adem Holness said: “One of the things I love most about London is that you can step out of any tube station and find yourself in a distinct community. That’s exactly how I want our festival to feel — each of our music venues will be a gateway into a different international new music scene.” To be in for a chance to win a pair of music passes, sign up below.
