Beauty fans across the UK, we’ve got big news. No longer will we have to watch, noses pressed up against the glass, as our overseas peers gorge themselves on the feast of products available at Sephora. Why? Because the ultimate cosmetics retailer is returning once again to the UK.

The return will be both online and IRL, with a website launching in just ten days time and a physical brick-and-mortar store opening in spring 2023. The first location will be in London with more stores planned nationwide in the future, while the website will be replacing FeelUnique, which was bought by Sephora last year.

With the launch will come a host of brands previously unavailable in the UK including ILIA, Gwen Stefani’s GXVE range, Patrick Starr’s One/Size, Tarte Cosmetics and Sephora’s own brand collection. Alongside new offerings will be favourites already sold here like Fenty Beauty, Pat McGrath Labs, Makeup By Mario and Glow Recipe.

“We will offer British consumers a pioneering selection of beauty that is best in class for innovation, diversity and inclusion,” says Chris de Lapuente, chairman and CEO at Sephora UK. “The UK is home to a dynamic beauty and wellbeing market that Sephora will aim to surprise and delight through our trademark know-how and creativity.”

Sephora already has stores in 35 countries across the world. In 2000 they entered the UK with nine stores but only lasted five years before they were closed down.
