The singer started off light, clarifying whether she gets dizzy when spinning and dancing around her living room in previously shared videos. “Yes I get extremely dizzy,” she said. “But I’m a dancer, so as long as I have a focus point for my head... usually in the end it’s not as bad.” Next up, she clarified what her March 24 post of a red refrigerator meant. “Honestly, I just thought it was cool,” Britney explained. “I thought it was vintage, it was red, and it was really cool.” Lastly, the pop star turned to the most frequently asked question: is she OK? “Yes, I’m totally fine,” she asserted. “I’m extremely happy. I have a beautiful home, beautiful children. I’m taking a break right now because I’m enjoying myself.” Fans have been increasingly concerned for Britney’s welfare in recent years, due to her sometimes chaotic Instagram presence and her decade-long conservatorship battle with her father. The legal arrangement and subsequent fan-started #FreeBritney movement was the subject of a recent New York Times documentary, titled Framing Britney Spears. After the film premiered, a number of celebrities came out in support of Britney, though the singer herself said she was “embarrassed” by the doc. “My life has been very speculated, watched, and judged,” Britney wrote on Instagram. “I didn’t watch the documentary but from what I did see of it, I was embarrassed by the light they put me in. I cried for two weeks and well… I still cry sometimes!!!!” Watch Britney’s fan Q&A below. Escape the algorithm!
